Readymade Garments exports in the FY 2079/80 have reached Rs. 8,61,65,00,000 placing no.5 of total Nepali exports in 2079/80. As compared to FY 2078/79, this figure has increased by Rs. 1,25,00,000. It may be noted that our status was number 7 in FY 2078/79. Trade & Exports Promotion Center of Government of Nepal under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Supplies published this figure recently. Apart from RMGs, some major exports from Nepal include palm oil, yarns, woolen carpet, iron and steel products, soybean oil, cardamom and jute and jute products.
