On 12th Shrawan 2082 (July 27, 2025), a Policy Dialogue on the theme “Opportunities and Challenges for Nepal’s Garment and Textile Supply Chain in the Context of LDC Graduation” was jointly organized by the Association and SAWTEE.
On the occasion, the Association’s President, Mr. Pashupati Dev Pandey, delivered the welcome address and expressed his belief that the outcomes of the program would support policy formulation following Nepal’s graduation from LDC status.
The program was chaired by Mr. Ravi Shankar Saiju, Vice-Chair of SAWTEE and former Joint Secretary of the Government of Nepal, and featured a presentation by Dr. Paras Kharel, Executive Director of SAWTEE.
The event was attended by the Association’s Second Vice President Mr. Bhupendra Kumar Basnet, General Secretary Mr. Bhim Kumar Giri, Joint Secretary Mr. Basanta Raj Adhikari, Treasurer Mr. Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, former secretaries and representatives of the Government of Nepal, representatives from the private sector, as well as representatives from various labor organizations.
