A seven member delegation led by President Pashupati Dev Pandey met with Mr. Ramu Poudel, Executive Director at Foreign Exchange Management Department, in Nepal Rastra Bank on 21 August 2023. The team of GAN discussed and raised concerns over the new system introduced to seek recommendations from GAN by its members in order to open up L/C. Mr. ED highlighted the provision made so as to make GAN responsible in managing foreign exchange through L/C.
Mr. Pandey urged for helping and guiding to make the exports easier.The delegation was represented by both VPs namely Mr. Rahul M Shakya and Mr. Bhupendra K Basnet, General Secretary Mr. Bhim K Giri, Members of Revenue Committee Mr. Sagar Basnet and Mr. Shailesh Vaidya, and CEO Mr. Anandaram Regmi
