Mr. Pashupati Dev Pandey, President of the Garment Association Nepal (GAN), along with office bearers and Executive Committee Members of the Association, attended “The Merino Circle” program organized by The Woolmark Company, Australia, at the Australian Embassy in New Delhi, India.
The program brought together stakeholders from the wool, textile, apparel, and fashion sectors to explore opportunities related to Merino wool, material innovation, product development, and sustainable fashion.
The participation of GAN provided an opportunity to strengthen engagement with international stakeholders and explore potential areas of cooperation in the development and promotion of Merino wool-based products in Nepal.
The event also contributed to enhancing awareness of emerging trends and opportunities in wool and sustainable textiles, which can support Nepali garment manufacturers in diversifying their products and strengthening their competitiveness in international markets.
GAN’s participation reflects its continued efforts to promote material innovation, sustainable production, product diversification, and international market opportunities for Nepal’s readymade garment industry.
