GAN welcomed Executive Director of Trade and Export Promotion Center Mr. Sharad Bikram Rana on 8 Sept 2023 at its Secretariat in a consultation regarding RMGs exports in the present context. This discussion program was an important one as we intend to find out ways to increase exports.
Dignitaries present at this program were President Pashupati Dev Pandey, 2nd VP Rahul Man Shakya, General-Secretary Bhim Kumar Giri, Joint-Secretary Basanta Raj Adhikari, and Treasurer Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, EC members Krishna Prasad Pandey, Satish Giri and Sachindra Pradhanang. Also present was Mr Sagar Basnet, member of the revenue committee.
In the beginning, Mr President welcomed him at GAN, mentioning TEPC might play a crucial role to assist us in increasing RMGs exports.
Mr Pandey explained point wise policy issues that are to be addressed and facilitated by TEPC with the concerned agencies of GoN.
Dignitaries individually raised different issues. At last, Mr. Rana responded that this was his first appearance at GAN and felt fruitful if continued to discuss such important matters. He had the same voices with the problems we face and promised to raise such subjects with the concerned government agencies.
