Garment Association Nepal, in collaboration with SAWTEE, organized a Policy Dialogue on the theme “Building Resilient and Sustainable Supply Chains in the Garment and Textile Sector.” on September 25, 2025 (Ashoj 9, 2082).
Speaking at the event, the Association’s President, Mr. Pashupati Dev Pandey, remarked that strengthening the supply chain to make it more resilient and sustainable is a critical issue. He expressed confidence that the outcomes of the dialogue would contribute to policymaking in the post-LDC graduation context.
The program was moderated by former Government Secretary, Mr. Madhu Marasini. During the session, textile engineer and expert representative of the Association, Mr. Prakash Kumar Jha, delivered a presentation.
The event was attended by representatives from the Government of Nepal, the private sector, and various labor organizations.
