Mr. Pashupati Dev Pandey, President of the Garment Association Nepal (GAN), participated in the “Industry with Finance Minister” program organized at the Ministry of Finance in the presence of Hon. Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Finance Minister of Nepal.
The program provided an important platform for representatives of the private sector and industrial community to exchange views with the Finance Minister on issues related to production, investment, export promotion, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
During the program, the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Government and the private sector was highlighted. The private sector reaffirmed its commitment to remain a reliable partner of the Government in building a prosperous Nepal through increased production, investment, export promotion, and entrepreneurship development, while creating quality employment opportunities.

The participants emphasized the need for greater policy stability, an investment-friendly business environment, and effective and regular dialogue between the Government and private sector to support sustainable industrial development and strengthen Nepal’s economic competitiveness.
Mr. Pandey’s participation represented the interests and perspectives of Nepal’s readymade garment industry in the policy dialogue and reinforced GAN’s continued engagement with the Government on measures to promote industrial growth, investment, employment, and exports.
